Fishing off the edge
of the archipelago.

Two boats, five hours, what you catch comes home.

Fishing

Two boats,
and what you catch comes home.

At Mariehuset, we have two boats and everything you need for fishing: one 16ft open boat for rent, and a 24ft walk-around for guided fishing trips. Try your luck on cod, halibut, Atlantic pollock, coalfish and haddock in some of the abundant waters in Norway. What you catch comes home for dinner, or gets packed and frozen for you.

The trip

Five hours, end to end.

A guided fishing trip runs around five hours from briefing to vacuum-pack. Minimum two guests, with a qualified captain on board.

1 hour

Briefing

2.5 hours

1.5 hours

Cleaning, filleting, packing

Back at the harbour: clean what we caught, fillet it, vacuum-pack anything you don't want for dinner tonight. Freezer space is available for overnight guests.
